The final assembly process for the fourth prototype (MSN4) of the A400M military airlifter by Airbus Military has already begun at the facilities of the Final Assembly Line of the company at the San Pablo Plant in Seville.
Last 21 January the Andalusian factory received the wings from the company’s plant at Filton (United Kingdom), which were transported using an Airbus Beluga. Meanwhile, in February the vertical tail plane arrived from the Airbus Military Plant at Stade (Germany).
The fuselage and nose section will be received from the facilities located at Bremen at a future date. The assembly of the different parts of the MSN4 model of the A400M will continue over the coming months, whose first flight is scheduled to take place before the end of 2010, according to Airbus Military.
