For yet another year, Elimco has consolidated its position in the national and international aeronautical sector after posting a turnover of 16.5 million euros for aeronautical activities during 2009, an increase of 10% with respect to the previous year.
The company started 2010 with high market expectations. Forecasts indicate that the expected growth in turnover will continue at around 25%, with an estimated turnover of 63 million euros. This optimistic outlook is a consequence of the important portfolio of orders secured during 2009, with more than 50% growth with respect to 2008. This Andalusian group is looking to repeat the growth achieved in previous years.
Some of the most important activities carried out by the company over the last year in the field of aeronautics include the development and manufacture of various UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), the tender for the construction of new power stations for the Santiago and Almería Airports, the remodelling of the Tenerife Sur airport and participation in the airports for Barcelona and Malaga.
Elimco has also made a strong commitment to its policy of geographic expansion, maintaining its presence in Mexico, as well as branches in Brazil and Colombia.
