The company Aernnova has reached an agreement with Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) to manufacture the wings to be fitted on the business jets of this North American company at its two plants in Mexico. The Spanish aeronautical group, which has its Andalusian office at Aeropolis, will be the sole supplier of the wings for five of the aircraft manufactured by this multinational company based in the United States. The contract includes the production of metal components and the subsequent assembly of the wings.

Following this important agreement Aernnova plans to expand its facilities in Mexico to meet the needs of the American and Canadian market. A further contract was also signed in late September with the Italian helicopter manufacturer Agusta Westland. This will enable it to consolidate its position in the market for these types of aircraft, in addition to its role as a supplier to Sikorsky and Eurocopter.

Aernnova will manufacture the rear fuselage for the NH 90 helicopter, with planned production of 150 aircraft and an initial turnover of 26.7 million euros. The company announced that this component will be manufactured in its centres at Vitoria and Seville.
